Jesus has risen, providing for the future of all those who come to him. He was the pioneer that God provided to ensure our success in this age and in the world to come - eternal life with God.

1 Cor 15:20 But in fact Christ has been raised from the dead, the first-fruits of those who have fallen asleep. 21 For as by a man came death, by a man has come also the resurrection of the dead. 22 For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive. 

We have a saviour who died so that our sins could be forgiven but more than that He rose from the dead so that we could rise with Him to a new life.

When Adam surrendered rulership of the earth to Satan he passed death down to us all. We were all born sinners and followed the path of sin. By Jesus' death and resurrection He rescued us from eternal death and pioneered  the way to eternal life.  By accepting Jesus' death on our behalf and surrendering our lives to Him so that He lives His life through us we receive the gift of eternal life with God.
