Know The Will Of God.

Paul on learning of new members to the Church prayed that they would be filled with the knowledge of the will of God. That's how they and us today will follow God in truth and do things that please Him.

Colossians 1:9 And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, 10 so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to Him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.

This is all predicated on being able to know God's will. When people tell us that God may have to say NO to our prayer requests because they may not align with His will, this does not fit with what Paul thought! Paul thought we should know God's will. Then if you're praying in His will you know what the answer will be! And, if you're not praying according to His will it could be argued that it's not that God says NO, it's more that He didn't hear what you said!

God has given us His word so that we can learn His will in all circumstances and gain revelation when we study it, so that we will have wisdom and understanding. Then our walk will be worthy of the Lord and our prayers answered.

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to show yourself approved to God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Let's study to be approved of God and thus know and do His will and walk in His blessings as heirs of Abraham.

Best wishes for Grace and the Peace of Jesus.
