There were many occasions where people were healed just by touching the hem or fringe of Jesus' garments. God is showing us what can be achieved by grace through faith in Him. We as Christians have within us, through Holy Spirit, the faith of Jesus but we have to access it not let it lay dormant!

Matthew 14:34 And when they had crossed over, they came to land at Gennesaret. 35 And when the men of that place recognized him, they sent around to all that region and brought to him all who were sick 36 and implored him that they might only touch the fringe of his garment. And as many as touched it were made well.

This incident refers specifically to Jesus of course, but by inference it applies to all those who are in Jesus and who revere/worship God and do all things in Jesus' name.

1 John 4:17 By this is love perfected with us, so that we may have confidence for the day of judgment, because as he is so also are we in this world.

We have the possibility of loving as Jesus loved and helping others just as He did, provided we have the courage to believe as Jesus believed and revere God who has provided us with every spiritual blessing.
