Let God Promote You!
Meditation on God's word brings revelation, insight and knowledge of God's plans
for your life. God will give you ideas and wisdom to use them for your good, the
good of others and the good of the Kingdom.
Show you have ideas, use them, and let God advance you. God is our source. God is
our provider. It's God who gives us the power to gain wealth.
Gen 41:37
This proposal pleased Pharaoh and all his servants.
38 And Pharaoh said to his servants, Can we find a man like
this, in whom is the Spirit of God?
Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, Since God has shown you all
this, there is none so discerning and wise as you are.
40 You shall be over my house, and all
my people shall order themselves as you command.
Only as regards the throne will I be greater than you.
Joseph wasn't afraid to let people know what good ideas he had.
He relied on God to give him any promotion that was due. In other words
God was his source not men. Someone could take his ideas and pass them off
as his own or otherwise not give him credit but he knew that God would reward
him for being a diligent servant to all with whom he came into contact.
This principle applies to Christians also in this age. God is our source.
He's called us to serve, just as Jesus came to serve. There may be a season
where you don't seem to be getting your just deserts but don't lose heart.
In due time, when you stick to Him, God will raise you up, just as he raised
Joseph to be the 'Second in Command' in the whole of Egypt.
