Believing Is Seeing!
One of the well known sayings in the skeptical world that we live in is,
"I'll believe it when I see it'! It's the watchword for the realist who
knows that men cannot be trusted.
Unfortunately if we as Christians have this same attitude towards God we
will NOT see all the blessings that God has in store for us manifest in
this world so that we can enjoy them!
In the spiritual realm that we as Christians partake of, "Believing is seeing!",
as Jesus said to the disciples and by extension to us....
Mark 11:24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in
prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
We know from His word that God has provided all things for us that we need but
it does not seem that everyone receives what they request. This can make one
believe those old wife's tales that 'God moves in mysterious ways!' and 'It all
depends on the sovereignty of God!'
In the above passage Jesus give us the lowdown on one of the real reasons that
what we request does not always manifest. We have to believe that we have
received it and then we will get it. For people in the world 'Seeing is
believing'. As I mentioned before for the Christian, 'Believing is seeing'!
When we utilize that kind of faith which Jesus exhibited we will see more of
the results that Jesus saw. And that kind of faith; the faith of Jesus; is
available to us all because Jesus has place it within us. We have to utilize
it by building up our access to it.
Romans 10:17 Faith comes by hearing and hearing, by the
(rhema) word of God.
The rhema word is the revealed word of God. It's the revelation God gives
us as we meditate on the written word. God gives us the real keys; we have
to meditate on His word in whatever area we are needful. Meditation brings
revelation as Holy spirit brings out the spiritual meaning for us
individually. Then with that revelation comes faith and
"Whatever you ask
in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours."
God has provided us with "all blessings in heavenly places" and also provided
the way to manifest them in this life; through faith in His Son!
Best wishes for Grace and the Peace of Jesus.
