The Christians life is built around faith but faith builds on the framework of hope! To see what God's grace will do through faith you must have HOPE!

Our God is a GOOD God and He has already provided ALL things for us by His Grace. Knowing this we sometimes concentrate on the faith that we must supply or exhibit in order to benefit from His grace. We oft-times completely neglect the part that hope plays in our walk with God. The writer of Hebrews says in Heb 11:1...

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Hope provides the spiritual structure on which faith puts the substance to manifest it in the physical realm. Without hope faith has nothing on which to build!

One could have the faith to move mountains where praying for jobs for the jobless and homes for the homeless are concerned. One could be known as a great prayer warrior in these fields. But, if for instance you had been convinced by others that God does not do any healing today, you may not have hope of seeing anyone healed supernaturally. And your faith has no framework on which to mold the substance needed for the healing of the person.

God cannot work miracles for us if we do not believe Him capable! Notice Deuteronomy 7:17.

Deuteronomy 7:17 If you say in your heart, ‘These nations are greater than I. How can I (God) dispossess them?’

If the children of Israel lost hope in God fighting and winning their battles (as happened when the ten spies brought back an evil report about the strength of people living in Canaan), then God tells them He will not be able to dispossess the people in the land in favour of Israel.

So remember that we must know and know that we know what God has promised us in His word and always maintain a Godly hope that everything God has promised He will do! God is good!
