Walk In The light.
Because of accepting Jesus as our redeemer we have been forgiven and more than
being under the Old Covenant we have indeed been justified and we are NOW in
the kingdom of God.
Colossians 1:11 May you be strengthened with all power,
according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy, 12
giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of
the saints in light. 13 He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and
transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son, 14 in whom we have
redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
Realising this we should look to the light of the kingdom, Jesus Christ, and be
strengthened to live the overcoming life in the power God supplies.
We have this power in us eternally through Holy Spirit as the saints of God but have to utilise what Jesus has qualified us to have by focusing on Jesus in us the hope of glory and giving thanks to God always for what He has done for us.
You are in the light, so take strength from God to walk in that light!
1 Joh 1:7... if we walk in the Light as He
Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the
blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.
So walking with Christ in the Light means we are continually being cleansed of all our
sin, and our faith in Jesus gives us access to the grace of God which teaches us to say
"NO" to all unrighteousness.
Romans 5:1 Therefore, since we have been justified by faith,
we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. 2 Through him we have also
obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoiced in hope
of the glory of God.
Since this righteousness is a gift by God's grace and did not come to us because of
what we did we cannot lose it because of what we do either. Righteous is what we ARE!
As we walk in the Light we are continually cleansed of all sin. Our righteousness
is permanent and from that base, by God's grace, we are enabled to
stand in the sight of God and do the works He has prepared for us. Christ in us, as
we let Him live through us, enables us to live holy lives to God!
That's something to rejoice about!
Best wishes for Grace and the Peace of Jesus.
