It's wonderful to realise that when Jesus died for us removing our sins He did not stop there but when He rose He provided for our continual life of good works through His resurected life, living in and through us!

We cannot be separated from Him as Holy Spirit in us completes the work He started to renew us to be the image of Jesus.

In the book of Romans, Chapter 8, verse 35 Paul asks a rhetorical question. “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ?”

And his answer is -

Romans 8:38-39 “For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor power, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Is there anything that could have been left out from that list? Neither death or life; Neither good angels or evil angels (principalities and powers); Nothing around today or in the future; Nothing high or deep; And, just to be complete, No other creature; shall be able to separate us from the love of Christ.

That does not just tell us that our salvation is sure, it tells us that our lives in this age are under the guidance of Jesus and the love of God which is in Him. You're covered!

No power that can come against us has been left out from that list in Romans. So, once having accepted Jesus Christ as your personal saviour and received Holy Spirit; once having been regenerated and become the new creation in Jesus Christ, living by HIS spirit according to HIS principles, nothing can snatch you from Christ's hand.

Seeing the love they have for us and the blessings they have provided, our love can know no bounds! We WILL follow Him to the end.
