In all the things that Jesus said during His life here on earth the key planks of the Gospel were His teachings on faith and love. Faith in Him which was what Father God worked to have us understand and the love of God which flowing from our hearts was to be our motivation.

The Apostle John summed this up in his letter, in 1 John, Chapter 3, verses 21-23.

1 John 3:21 Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence before God; 22 and whatever we ask we receive from him, because we keep his commandments and do what pleases him. 23 And this is his commandment, that we believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ and love one another, just as he has commanded us.

The two commandments for the Christian Believer are "Believe on the Lord Jesus" and "Love one another".

All of our blessings come by faith in Jesus and we know that we cannot say we love God who we cannot see if we do not love our neighbour who we can see!

When you put faith in Jesus and live in His love you will fulfill the destiny God has in store for you. God has great plans for you, to do you good and give you posterity and hope. God works everything out for your good as you do your part and are obedient to the faith!

That is, "Believe on the Lord Jesus" and "Love one another".
