After healing the lame man in Acts, Chapter 3, verrses 1-10 Peter and John are brought before the High Priest and told to stop teaching in the name of Jesus but Peter answered that they would listen to God not to them. Seven weeks earlier a servant girl was able to make him deny knowing Jesus! Now he has the courage to serve Jesus whole-heartedly. You can see his answer in acts Chapter 4.

Acts 4:17 But in order that it may spread no further among the people, let us warn them to speak no more to anyone in this name.” 18 So they called them and charged them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus. 19 But Peter and John answered them, “Whether it is right in the sight of God to listen to you rather than to God, you must judge, 20 for we cannot but speak of what we have seen and heard.”

It's the same with us today. If we are being led by the Holy Spirit then we will have the boldness to do the work of God and live by His heartbeat.

Then we will have good success as we teach of God our Father, Jesus His son and Holy Spirit living in us and guiding us and leading us to a glorious future.

Live by the Spirit and we will have the same boldness as Peter and John!
