The nearer we get to the climax of the age, the more we see events unfolding which are designed to bring fear onto the earth. We must not take on this fear that is in the world though. The spirit of fear that tries to overtake us, is not from God. All GOOD gifts come from Him.

God, Jehovah, is not so bereft of ideas that he has to give people diseases to teach them lessons, nor so weak that His followers have to kill and murder to fulfill their plans. Also, our God does not break His promises. Other gods are capricious and cannot be trusted to act towards their followers in love, but not the TRUE God, Jehovah. He's a GOOD God.

2 Timothy 1:7 For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

God even supplies us with the faith to believe His word and speak His word, to receive all the good things that Jesus Has provided for us. Feed your heart on the word of God, which is Jesus and the Bible. Then, when you say what God says you will have, you will receive what God said you should receive!

Isa 55:10-11 “For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater,
so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it".

Seek the Lord and He will answer you and He will rescue you from all your problems. Our God fights for us!

Psalm 34:4 I sought the LORD, and He answered me and delivered me from all my fears.

Of course, this fear that we are talking about here is distinct from "the fear of the Lord". The fear of the Lord is referring to an "awe and healthy respect" for God, who is above all and greater than all.

The fear that is in the world cause people to become refugees from their county, to have depression, to be widowed and orphaned and to live in dread of the false gods and their followers.

But, as you walk in faith of the TRUE God, this will push fear (human dread) out of your heart. Both faith and this world's fear are built up by the words we hear and the words we speak. So we should listen to and speak the "word of God" which builds faith and meditate on the truth that He shows us.

Faith comes by 'hearing and hearing, by the (rhema) word of God'. Then as we grow in this faith, as Jesus, the Son of God, wants us to, we will believe in Him; and as we rest in Him, we will have His peace which passes all understanding and He will give us the desires of our heart.
