Use Your Gifts To Serve Others!
It's wonderful that God has given every one of us gifts to use as part of
the body of Jesus. Jesus has the gifts and as we are in Him we share in
what He has! The Holy Spirit in us administers the gifts just as He did
when Jesus was on the earth in personal bodily form. Now that we are His
body Jesus works through us and Holy Spirit gives us the gifts we need in
our area of influence.
This is all for the blessing of the rest of the body of Christ and for the
work of ministry to which we have individually been called. Peter makes
this point in his letter 1 Peter, Chapter 4, in verse 10
1 Peter 4:10 As each has received a gift, use
it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace: 11
whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one
who serves by the strength that God supplies in order that in everything
God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and
dominion forever and ever. Amen.
Adam was given dominion over the world and when he followed Satan into sin
he gave that dominion over to Satan. Jesus came as the second Adam,
defeated Satan, and took that dominion and rule back! Now Jesus has all
power and authority in heaven and earth and under the earth. And we are
given gifts as part of His body to enforce that rulership as we follow
the guidance of and walk after the Holy Spirit.
Submit to God and His blessings will flow to you according to the plan
God is working out for you. The provision needed is along the way of the
plan! Just as the ravens were already at the brook to feed Elijah, your
provision is already along the way that you are to follow. Jesus is the
way. Follow Him and His plan for your life and ALL the provision and
blessings that our 'GOOD' God has for you will be waiting in the way!
As Paul tells us in Philippians 4:19...
Philippians 4:19 And this same God who takes care
of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been
given to us in Christ Jesus.
What a wonderful God we worship.
Best wishes for Grace and the Peace of Jesus.
