From even before you were born God has been setting out his plans for your life and writing it down so He could show it to you later. God doesn't forget so I'm guessing it's not written down for His benefit!

Psalm 139:14-16 I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.

God has prepared a bright future for you but you have to seek and find it and then walk in it. If God has a plan for you He also has set aside the resources needed to carry out that plan. So if you commit yourself to do the plan, God will work out everything for good even if you've missed the start. God has the ability to get you back on His track if you will seek out and follow His will, depending on the Holy Spirit to lead you to all truth.

Rom 11:29 For the gifts and the calling of God are without repentance.

God has not changed His mind about what He wants to do for you and through you, and the quickest way to get with the plan is to start now in faith. Ask Him what His plan is for you. He knows and wants you to know also. ASK!
